2015 Summer Running Program

Rebels Cross Country Summer Running Program
Weekly Training Runs: Monday - Friday @ 8:00am 
June 15 - August 1st.
The Summer Running Program is a pre-season training program for the Rebels Cross Country team, which is made up of incoming 6th - 12th graders. We invite all that may be interested in running XC this fall with either the high school program or our middle school program to join us this summer. Keep a daily "Running Log" for the Summer, recording how far, how it felt and what trail you ran. At the conclusion of the summer the coaching staff will award "Summer Mileage" t-shirts to those who put in the miles!
We encourage all to attend at least 3 running sessions a week at a minimum.    Attending at least 3 sessions allows for your own personal flexibility with summer activities.  The greater the attendance during the summer, the greater chances you will have a break-thru season this Fall !
  • Summer Mileage T-Shirts will be awarded at the end of the summer training season.  Those who have reached 200, 300, 400+ will receive the 2015 Summer Mileage "T"!
  • Washington Lake Training Camp will take place TBA.
  • July 4th Week:  Captains Practice   June  29-July 4th
  • Captains Practice Date(s):  Aug. 3-15th
  • 2015 Season Start Date:  August 17th

Rebel Alumni

Literally ran into a '97 alum this afternoon while running on the trails towards the dam.   Kelli Nims is still running....preparing for a marathon.   #7 on the All-Time 4K List.  Which reminds me....girls' keep in mind that with the change in distance this fall....virtually all of your times will establish new all-time postings in all age groups and overall all-time performances......Cool huh !
