Early Bird Meet

Girls' Recap: The GIrls' Team won the Early Bird meet for the first time in school history with an incredible team score of 25 points. Three Rebels finished in the top 5: Abby Hibbs-2nd, Vayda Foy-3rd and Ellie Grossman 5th. Our 4th - 6th finished 7th-Elise Oldroyd, 8th Brigid Keran and 10th-Lexy Beer. We had 14 HS & MS runners in the event, with 8 setting all-time bests ! Leading the way with the biggest drop and finishing 16th overall was Gabby Wahl. Dropping 2:08 from her previous PR. Not to be outdone was Lexy Beer who dropped 1:45 over the 5K course, Ellie Grossman a 60 sec. drop and Kylie Aswegan-22nd overall with a 18 second pr!
Boys' Recap: The Rebel Boy's won the meet for the 1st time in three years with a team score of 52 points, beating 2nd place Anoka by 4 points. Our top two runners finished 5th-Charlie Hibbs ( 1: 59 PR !) and 6th Garret Doty-6th ( 14 sec. PR!). Numbers 3-5 for the Rebels were Ethan Ibarra-11th, rookie senior Jackson Milburn-12th and Ryan Kane-18th (64 sec. PR!). Rounding out the top seven were Grayson Holtz-22nd ( 2 sec. PR!) and Isaac McKeon-30th
Of Note: Of the 19 Rebel boys' running, 13 set lifetime PR's ! Eight of the those runners ran there first official high school 5K !
Overall: On paper we were not supposed to win either of these races.....so much for paper :)
